JEE 2014 INTRODUCTION:
JEE 2014 stands for joint entrance examination. JEE earlier only for the engineering entrance exam for IIT colleges .But after the CBSE 2012 reformation in entrance exam. CBSE announced the common exam for the AIEEE and JEE-IIT.
After this announcement JEE divided into two parts i.e. JEE MAIN and JEE ADVANCED. JEE MAIN exam part  consist of  the entrance of engineering courses in NIT,CFTC(centeral funded technical colleges),IIT. JEE MAIN is divided into two paper:-

JEE MAIN
i)PAPER A, for the entrance of  engineering courses (BTECH,B.E,B.SC,B.COM)
ii)PAPER B,for the entrance of B.ARCH,B.PLANNING.

JEE ADVANCED
i) PAPER A, for the admission in IIT,IIT BHU,ISM DHANBAD.
ii)PAPER B,for the entrance in IIT,IIT BHU,ISM DHANBAD.

On September 2013,IIT council approved  the advanced JEE paper which consist of  JEE MAIN,JEE ADVANCED.From 2013 joint entrance examination include the both aieee,jee which saves the money and time of students. Let we know about the pattern which JEE used for the entrance examination.
 JEE EXAM PATTERN:
 As earlier discussed in this post joint entrance examination is combination of two part. JEE MAIN which consist of Paper A and Paper B. Paper A ,for the admission in btech,b.e,b.sc,b.com courses.Paper A is for both online and offline candidates.While paper B is for the offline candidate.Both paper A and paper B has objective type questions.Candidates who qualified the JEE MAIN exam selected for the JEE ADVANCED part. 150,000 candidates who qualified the JEE main selected for the JEE advanced.Online candidates allowed for the Part A paper.
JEE EXAM COUNSELLING:
CBSE(Central board of secondary education) and CSAB(Central seat allocation board) are two different and independent boards. CBSE conducts JEE (Main) examination and publishes the merit list. CSAB only uses the merit list published by CBSE for seat allocation purposes. In previous years the admission process was conducted through CCB (Central Counseling Board), while this year CCB has been renamed as CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) for completing the seat allocation process.

JEE EXAM DATE
Exam dates and time for the JEE main and JEE advanced are given below:-
- JEE MAIN EXAM on 6th of april 2014(For offline candidates)
- Timings are –   paper A at 9 AM to 12PM  , Paper B at 2 PM to 5 PM.
- JEE ADVANCED EXAM on 25th May 2014(for offline candidates)
- Timings are- paper A at 9AM to 12 PM, Paper B at 2PM to 5PM.
